Hor Fun Noodle Soup

A tasty noodle soup recipe made from ingredients you can find at your local Asian supermarket. It's a great meal to have for lunch as it's super quick and simple to make. 
The recipe is easy to adapt as you desire.

Cooking time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

White rice noodles (hor fun)
Chinese fish cakes (you can also use fish balls or any meat or seafood)
Pak choi (Chinese cabbage)
Vegetable or chicken stock/ plain water also works for this recipe (2 cups per portion)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
Pinch of salt

Method


1. Slice the fish cake into rectangular slices. Wash the pak choi and slice each leaf in half lengthways.



2. Heat the vegetable/chicken stock and add the salt, soy sauce, sesame oil, fish sauce and oyster sauce.

3. Add the fish cake slices and rice noodles and allow to simmer for 1-2 minutes. Add the pak choi and simmer for a further 2-3 minutes.  Serve immediately.
